The Florida Health Care Association hosts a Silent Auction to raise funds for the Association's Education and Development Foundation, Inc, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to promoting education in health care professions in the State of Florida. The auction takes place during the Trade Show in the Exhibit Hall. Attendees can bid on exciting items such as hotel and restaurant gift certificates, jewelry, gift baskets, product and service certificates, autographed memorabilia and much more. Proceeds raised from the event benefit the Foundation's scholarship program, which provides career-ladder scholarships to nurses, nursing assistants (CNAs) and other health care professionals working in long term care.
